Honour Rolls

Great War (1914-1918)

The Rocky Hill Honour Roll bears the names of 1,400 men from Goulburn and the surrounding districts who served in the Great War. Measuring an impressive 4.8 by 3 metres, the memorial honour roll, unveiled in 1927, is constructed from four Carrara marble panels, framed by local sandstone.

World War II (1939-1945)

Local Faces: Remembering men and women from the Goulburn district who served during WW II

Women and men from the Goulburn district made a substantial contribution to the Allied war effort during World War II. This Virtual Honour Roll commemorates their service by displaying the faces of these service personnel and providing guided access to their records recently digitised by the National Archives of Australia (NAA).

Approximately 650 of 2362 records are digitised and available via this browser by either clicking on an image or by using the search option. The images were primarily taken during the enlistment process and attached to the rear of the Attestation Form – around half of the records do not include images and can only be found by searching. Further images and records will be added as they become available.
