About this objectA collection of 11 cards depicting Australian speedway racers from the 1930s. They contain portraits of the riders with their names underneath. These speedway racers participated in many races across Australia; and some even travelled overseas to tour, like Dave "Tiger" Kemp.
The creator of these photographic cards are unknown, but they were produced in Sydney.
We known that at least one of these men served in World War One. Cecil Chawner enlisted on the 18th of August 1914 and returned to Australia on the 17th of August 1916.
