The Rocky Hill War Memorial & Museum is one of the Goulburn’s premier cultural institutions and attractions. The Memorial was constructed as a lasting tribute to those of Goulburn and district who served during the Great War (WWI). It is a well-known and iconic representation of the city of Goulburn and a significant landmark to the local community. Located on a prominent rocky outcrop the Memorial is a must to visit, with the viewing platform at the top of the tower, some 20 metres above ground level providing a spectacular view over the inland city and Southern Tablelands.

In 2020, a new award-winning Museum building and exhibition space opened onsite, and the surrounding landscape is dotted with large armaments, plaques and memorials with a young lone pine taking pride of place.
With a picnic area and spectacular views of the region from across the site, Rocky Hill War Memorial and Museum attracts visitors from around NSW, Australia and from across the world.
